IBCT's educational standards used by Ministry of Health. Professor Dr. Samir R. Helal CT, Director of the The Middle East & North African Board of the IBCT, signed a protocol with the High Committee of Medical specialties of the Ministry of Health. According to the signed protocol, the IBCT Middle East Board will certify the training system, training materials and trainers to the Egyptian Medical Fellowship Board, Ministry of Health in several medical specialties. All the certification procedures will be conducted according to the international standards of the IBCT. New certifications in the US San Jose, California, – Mrs. Leslie Ciborowski, President of TrainSmart, Inc., received proudly the Certificate for TrainSmart’s TTT (Train the Trainer) course out of the hands from Erik Boshuizen, European director of the IBCT. The training program was audited on 6 strict main criteria and 89 sub criteria by an expert team with members from Egypt, New Zealand, The Netherlands and Thailand. Successively Professor Dr. Ahmed Metwalli, Peter Rijhnen, Sandor Lemstra and Erik Boshuizen.
This year the IBCT audited almost twenty training programs until now coming from various continents. Themes of the programs varied from legal and finance aspects, leadership, time and meeting management to Train the Trainer. TTT programs are subject to extra strict reviews because of the weighty responsibilities of such courses.
Successful annual seminar of the Middle East division Cairo - Ain Shams University: A great deal of TOT trainers, consultants and educational officials attended the annual seminar of the IBCT Middle East division on Wednesday, 22 April 2009 in Cairo. IBCT Middle East director Professor Dr. Samir Riad Helal gave account of the results of the past years. Dr. Samir Helal shared with the participants the decree of the Minister that the project organization was officially been transferred into a sustainable organization positioned within the Supreme Council of Universities. European director Erik Boshuizen praised the achieved results of the whole FLDP team, the decisiveness and leadership of the Egyptian government in improving the higher education. He also mentioned the biggest challenges for TOT trainers in Egypt for the coming years: 1. Harvest the fruits of the free education. 2. Realize change specifically in the classrooms. 3. Turning frustrations into motivation, 4. Lift yourself to the next level, 5. Action: unify and multiply your self as TOT trainers. At the end of the seminar participants discussed their ideas and debated in a friendly atmosphere about many interesting training issues and continued their involved discussions during a lunch. Radio campaign Amsterdam - Starting December 2008 and continuing in the first quarter of 2009 the IBCT was broadcastimg 75 commercials in The Netherlands during a national promotion campaign on the popular business radio station BNR to inform the public about the performance boost that IBCT Certified Trainer can offer organizations.
